Begin your afternoon departing from eye-catching Sullivans Cove, home to boats, spinnakers and yachts. See Salamanca Place boasting beautiful Georgian style warehouses, followed by Battery Point, a delightful and historical region of Hobart. Then drive further out of Hobart to the Cascade Gardens, where there is an opportunity to also walk around the exterior of the Cascade Brewery – a charming heritage building rich in history. Take the perfect photograph of the cascade Brewery with the engulfing Mt Wellington in the background. You will then have the opportunity to visit the remains of the Female Factory – and learn the untold stories of Australia’s female convicts. See the many historical buildings of importance in Hobart and then enjoy crossing the Tasman Bridge and head to Rosny Hill lookout where you can photograph Hobart, the Derwent River, Sandy Bay and Mt Wellington to your heart’s content!
